Supporting Infants in Foster Care

Giving children with troubled beginnings the power to thrive.

rough beginnings

Newborns placed into foster care are at high risk for health, developmental, and emotional challenges. They come from traumatizing circumstances, including from households contending with substance abuse, violence, and economic hardship. At Three Starlings Foundation, we hope to build and nurture solid foundations for these babies so they can go on to thrive in stable, loving homes.

Let’s give them the welcome they deserve.

Bundles of Joy

Babies in foster care go through many transitions. Because of difficult circumstances and the fact that they often have special care needs, it is important to ensure that the households in which they reside are ideally equipped. Bundles of Joy are specially prepared parcels containing basic infant care items, such as diapers, clothing, strollers, and bottles, as well as keepsake items, such as photo books and knitted blankets, which are specially selected for these babies. The bundles are created to assist caregivers in need. But perhaps more importantly, they are also designed to help these children, who are born into dire circumstances, feel welcomed and treasured.

A $250 donation allows us to provide a complete bundle for a needy infant.

Corporate sponsorship and in-kind donations of infant care products are welcomed.

Specialty, hand-made items for babies are also welcomed. Please contact us at threestarlingsfoundation@gmail.com for more information.

These children and their caregivers have high need levels, but unfortunately there are not always sufficient resources to ensure a safe and healthy path forward for them.

Please help us close the gap.
